Nifty vs ClickUp: flat team pricing against the lowest per-seat price

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-03

Quick answerClickUp is cheaper at the entry tier: $7 per user against Nifty's $10, and $70 against a flat $79 for ten people (annual billing). Nifty's flat $124 Business plan wins from 11 people at the Business tier.

Nifty vs ClickUp on price

ClickUp is the cheaper of the two at the entry tier: on annual billing its Unlimited plan costs less than Nifty Pro at every team size up to ten. Nifty's flat pricing comes out ahead only at the Business tier, from eleven people. ClickUp's entry paid plan, Unlimited, is $7 per user per month billed yearly or $10 billed monthly. Nifty's entry paid plan, Pro, is $10 per member per month billed annually or $16 monthly, but Nifty also sells Pro as a flat $79 a month (annual) or $99 (monthly) for up to 10 members. Both sets of prices are as read on 3 October 2026 on each vendor's pricing page.

Our arithmetic: five people cost $35 a month on ClickUp Unlimited and $50 on Nifty Pro, both annual. Ten people cost $70 on ClickUp Unlimited and $79 on Nifty flat Pro. On monthly billing the two are almost level at ten people: $100 on ClickUp Unlimited and $99 on Nifty flat Pro. Step up a tier and Nifty's flat price starts to win. Ten people on ClickUp Business cost $120 a month against $124 for Nifty flat Business, but eleven cost $132 on ClickUp while Nifty flat Business stays at $124 for up to thirty. Against ClickUp's cheaper Unlimited plan, the $124 flat Business price is lower only from 18 people (18 x $7 = $126).

What each does that the other does not

Only Nifty: a flat price for the whole team. A flat Nifty Pro workspace costs the same whether it has seven members or ten, and the flat plans include unlimited guests. ClickUp bills every member, and its FAQ says the whole workspace must be upgraded together.

Only ClickUp: native whiteboards and mind maps, sprint points and reporting, and a money-back guarantee. Nifty's pages describe embedding Miro boards instead of a whiteboard of its own, and its terms rule out refunds. ClickUp also puts goals and portfolios on its $7 plan, where Nifty holds goals back for Business.

ClickUp sells its AI separately. Nifty's pricing table does not say which plan includes Orbit AI.

Who should pick Nifty and who should pick ClickUp

  • Pick ClickUp if the lowest bill matters most, you want the longest feature list for the money, and someone on the team enjoys configuring a tool. Watch the automation meter: a busy board can pass 1,000 runs in a month.
  • Pick Nifty if you are 7 to 30 people, bring clients into projects, want milestones, chat and docs working with little setup, and value a fixed bill over the lowest one. The flat bill does not grow with each hire until you cross 10 or 30 members.
  • Pick neither yet if your current tracker works and the real problem is missing owners and dates. Fix the minimum task record first.

Moving from ClickUp to Nifty

Nifty has a ClickUp importer. Its help article says the import brings projects, task lists, tasks, assignees, descriptions, attachments, creation dates, subtasks, comments and due dates, and usually takes minutes. The steps:

  1. In ClickUp, open Settings, then Apps, and generate an API token.
  2. In Nifty, open the importer from the workspace menu, choose ClickUp and paste the token.
  3. Match ClickUp users to Nifty members, or invite them.
  4. Choose which data to bring across and start the import.

Custom fields, automations, goals, dashboards and time entries are not on Nifty's import list, so plan to rebuild them by hand. Run both tools side by side for one real handover before canceling, as set out in the pilot rehearsal. If the trial goes badly, ClickUp's 30-day refund works in your favor in one direction only: Nifty does not refund.
